A deep dive into sociotechnical imaginaries and the ongoing influence of Star Trek on technology and innovation. Using Control and Zora as case studies, this session will explore how intent, relations and affect shape algorithms and help us hypothesize on the types of sentient intelligence we may ultimately create.
